Natalie 300x300I’m here to help you simplify complicated nutrition information so that you can achieve all of your fitness and nutrition goals. Although I focus on sports nutrition, I believe that all nutrition topics center around food. I wouldn’t be in this profession if I didn’t love to cook and create fun recipes for you!

My philosophy on food: I believe that healthy food should be tasty food. I have a knack for looking at a recipe and figuring out how to make it healthier.  Food doesn’t need butter and cream to taste good! My blog showcases that healthy ingredients can come together to make a delicious and simple dish when prepared correctly.

A little more about me: I have my Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College Columbia University, where I also completed a Dietetic Internship.

In my free time, I love anything that gets me outside and moving.

My workout of choice is running, and I’ve run 6 half marathon.  I’m running my first full marathon this year!

Biking relaxes me. I participate in the 5 Boro Bike Tour every year!

Skiing is my absolute favorite thing to do.  I love nothing more than being on skis in the fresh mountain air.
